Toxin leak at New York school sparks worries

Parents are outraged over a PCB leak in a New York school.  The leak is the second reported in the state since the start of the school year.  I know it’s very important to focus on academics, nutrition and all the extracurricular activities necessary for children to thrive and grow, but we also have to make sure this happens in a safe environment.

Our education system is not only failing academically but is putting our children in danger by keeping them in antiquated and polluted facilities around the country.

This is 2012, and we know what chemicals are bad for you. Let’s clean our schools.
