New Parents: Share Your Experiences

One of the hardest things for new parents to do is share their feelings and experiences.

At times, it feels it like we are inadequate and other times we feel guilty when we are overwhelmed. Above all we must remember that we are not alone.

Many new parents can tell you they feel the same way so it’s important to share our experiences. By talking about our challenges we can all learn from each other. Whether it’s confiding in friends, joining a support group, talking to your provider or accepting help from your mother, mother-in-law or partner, sharing our stories with the people we respect and love reminds us that our experiences are normal and that we really are okay.
