What is missing in the story if the importance of Vitamin D in fighting almost every disease including osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes and cancer. 15 minutes of sun gives us all the Vitamin D we need for a day. Sun Screens and glass block the UVB rays which make vitamin D, so hold off for 15 minutes before applying sun screen or closing the window of your car.

Thanks for dispelling myths about sun and cancer. So many people think skin cancer is just a matter of having moles removed, but it is a very real form of cancer that can spread to other organs and become life threatening, even at a young age. Rather than scaring us, you've given us great information!

Thanks,
