Strawberry Memories

Flavonoids are often mentioned, rarely do we single them out by individual names. Here’s one, fisetin. Yeah, quercetin I’ve heard, fisetin, no, can’t say that I have.

If I have I can’t remember anyway, probably because there wasn’t enough in my system. You see, fisetin has been found to stimulate pathways that enhance long term memory. And all you need to do is eat 10 pounds of strawberries daily to achieve beneficial effects.

What? Yeah, 10 pounds. You can do it. I’ve started already so I can get my RDA for today.

10 pounds is a lot. So I’m thinking you will see supplements over the next few months on your health store shelves. That is, if you can remember a flavonoid called fisetin in a few months.
