Eat Your Veggies, Get a Raise

Perhaps that’s stretching things a bit, but what won’t be stretching is your waistline. Guess what? Your boss wants you to eat better. Or at least your boss’s boss. Or your boss’s boss’s boss.

No, it’s not just about the love. With health care costs continuing to escalate, Corporations are starting to realize that if they have a healthy workforce, then the cost to them will be less. Always follow the money. Besides healthy workers tend to miss less work.

So don’t give your boss a hug to say thank you. Just keep a celery stalk on your desk. Work smarter, not harder.
